No no and absolutely ******* NOT. I’m literally saying no out loud. KC BBQ is, for the most part, just ok. I don’t want to be an *** or disrespectful, but it’s not even BBQ. I’ll give it burnt ends and a history bump. Nothing compares to Texas. If anything does, it’s never going to be KC. Nice town and people. Wouldn’t want to live there, but a nice place to visit.

I recall some time ago when Ed had apparently had a discussion with someone regarding a position coach position and he said he would only take a job as a coordinator or HC.

KC bbq is mediocre-to-lousy in comparison to Texas Q. They can’t even do things like ribs and pulled pork as good as the places in central Texas. And forget brisket, which is consistently awful in KC unless it’s burnt ends.

Best KC bbq places are LCs, Slaps and KC Joe’s. And Jack Stack is decent. After that it’s literally dozens of places cooking up trash.

How’s Memphis?

Best pork ribs I’ve ever had are Buz & Neds in Richmond, VA. They do baby back and spare ribs.

Never tried their beef ribs. I know that’s big in Texas.

Yeah I don’t think anyone doubts Ed would crush it as a coach, it’s just if that’s what he wants at this point in his life.

I remember during his introductory press conference as chief of staff he talked about how his kid is up in GA and he wants to be an active part of his life so he would have to split time.

Loose sleep? One **** of an assumption lol.. Not so fast my friend lol. More so speculating about his potential replacement than worry about Kevin Steele leaving lol. I was neither elated or crushed by the hire. Thought it was solid. My angle is the epic melt down from the part of the fanbase that wants the staff completed and feels like Mario is some how failing because it isn't complete. Even after landing a top 15 class almost single handed.

They hate him at UiF. Blamed him for sandbagging things on the way out while on interim staff as Sling Blade Billy came in. I think he’s a decent recruiter.
