He has good WAR too. He was obviously the best defensive CF for close to a decade. His numbers are really good once you get past the batting average.

If he sucks at hiring coaches, we hired the wrong guy. I have serious concerns with him and who he hires. His OC and DC at Oregon were nothing special, at all.

He can recruit. Typically recruiting can carry you deep in college athletics and hopefully he has learned during his time at Oregon. We will see.
