I burned out. my key in when I was like **** this **** was when I was on vacation having panic attacks over emails. transitioning into other roles. unless you absolutely need the money asap and need to take a role that typically burns people out, there are more ways to use the degree in a more purposeful manner.

I assume you're in civil lit?

if so, unless you love to argue over senseless **** all day (which in that case go plaintiff bc at least make more money w no billing). if you like to argue and love motion practice, do more complex lit.

if you hate lit bt are stuck in it bc its a job, then look into compliance roles, in house roles that focus more on strategy rather than litigation strategy.

I hate court, hate motions practice so being a litigator is like waking up in a nightmare daily.

It sucks man. They gave us those ****** 3M plugs in the AF and working on jets all day ruined my ears. Not just working on jets, but having B1's etc. take off next to you all day without proper ear protection. I can't hear my wife 1/2 the time and get bad ringing multiple times a day. I thought it was bs at 1st, but it sucks.

I believe There’s a billion dollar class action suit out there about the military and those earplugs…you might want to check into it…and thank you for your service .My son-in-law is a Lt Col in the AF and just took over squadron commander at Belle Chase NAS
