You know sometimes when you’re hiring somebody, you don’t get your first or second choices. That’s kind of the way it goes. I have no idea who it’s going to be but I know I neither plan to slurp nor slam whoever it is.

I am kind of hoping it’s him though because in the end I think it’s not really going matter all that much, and the feminine whining on here will be hilarious.

Ponce would be a big whiff. I’d rather see Mario take a chance on Sean Lewis at Kent State, Seth Litrell at North Texas… an up and coming QB coach… it’s a weak result with the money available. I won’t root against him of course nor blanket hate everything going forward - but I’m not putting lipstick on that pig either and denying it.

I see tire shreds from trucks from time to time on the road. I’m sure everybody has. You’re lucky though.

When I was in high school I was in a car with about four or five other people, I wasn’t driving, but the guy that was had couple of nearly bald tires, you know how it is. Anyway his car blew out on 95 while we were going about 70 or 80 - he lost control of the car unfortunately but we just ended up bouncing off a wall and nobody was hurt. But that could’ve gone really badly, The car could’ve flipped hit another car there were like 1000 things that could happen and only one or two would’ve been good. And we lucked out that somehow the way we hit that wall, the physics of it caused the car to slide in the other direction and then stop thankfully

You don't see nearly as many tire carcasses any more because, if you are old enough, they don't sell retreads like they used to and radial tire construction has further reduced that type of failure.
