No I think this is was in response to why Toledo fans wouldn't be upset if he left

Agree with that. But Toledo fans were spoiled by having Matt Campbell before him. Candle is 45-27 at Toledo. If I was a Toledo fan I'd want Campbell's results too but that a tough ask for any MAC program

Based on those highlights, there doesn’t seem to be too much movement or misdirection in his Offense. Definitely strives on big plays.
Toledo gained 679yds of total offense (458 passing & 221 rushing..) this game.

Pre-snap motion is just window dressing, you don’t need it to run a successful offense.

When you have the weapons we have at WR & TE, the Defense isn’t gonna disguise coverages, we don’t need additional checks, we’ll be getting a big dose of Double High Safety & a ton of cover 4 & cover 6 looks. When you have a big arm QB like we do teams will sell out to not get beat by the deep ball which means they’ll overcompensate coverage to the outside leaving the seam patterns in the middle of the field wide open.

Miami has speed & a big arm QB, we don’t need a pre-snap jigsaw puzzle, just line up, snap the ball & force them to pick their poison.

Yeah, I’m where you’re at. He’s been at Toledo for 6 years and has done well. I would not be surprised if P5 comes calling soon for HC jobs. Now he’d take an OC gig?
He’s reportedly hit up some P5 schools regarding their HC vacancies, and there was No takers. Maybe this is his way of getting his foot in the door or getting some P5 eyes on him.

Looks like he may have been the one to initiate contact with Mario. The mutual agent adds more intrigue.

Him and Dorsey are above this job. “If” we landed eorher it would be a huge pickup on Miami’s part. The only reason we would have a chance is obvious. Dorsey also having a very close relationship with Mario on top of being a Cane. Whipple has shot up the coaching ranks because he’s a brilliant dude. Anyone that knew the guy said he’d be a coach. He‘ll be an NFL oc very soon. I don’t get his logic coming here unless he wants to coach in college.
let's not forget that Whipple is an esteemed UM alum. he had a spectacular career at UM as a passer.

so its alum v alum

i cant old school GIF
