This thread has morphed into the equivalent of a cross-country road trip in a dilapidated camper van with all our degenerate friends.

Asking, "Are we there yet?" misses the point.

The adults riding up front - @Cribby and @Liberty City El can be relied on to chime in from time to time about important nuggets. @PIPO and @Baba Yaga will flash us their **** mags now and again. And @IndayArtHauz (aka, Mom) will make sure we have fun and don't take any of it too seriously.

Until our Coordinators are announced, sit back and enjoy the ride, Pops...
@Andrew is the dad driving at the end of his wits.

Loudest concert ever for me was Rush. I'd always heard they were loud and they were. Rush was on my bucket list and I finally got to see them about 12 years ago. Neil Peart's (may he RIP) drum solo was worth the price of admission in and of itself.

Hendrix said he was the best he'd ever seen.
Saw Rush 3 times...Neil was my inspiration to drum....

One of my favorites of all time - have seen them multiple times; they played Miami stadium in the early '70s (cold miserable night), at Sunrise, at the Hard Rock here, and with EWF, forget where.
I saw them 5 times in Charlotte early 2000's. EWF was with them a couple of times and the Doobie Brothers a couple of times. MY all time favorite is Led Zepplin with them a close 2nd. Helluva difference between the 2. LOL

I'll never forget that drum solo. Almost 10 minutes. He was surrounded by drums on a circular raised stage. He'd play one set and without missing a beat, turn to the other and the stage would rotate so he was facing the audience at all times. Unforgettable!

I love this thread....its for everyone and stunningly has not turned toxic...
Win win for everyone and Mods

Man, that could be like two or three weeks from now. This thing could actually outgrow the site and start spreading out in the real world. Like some science-fiction movie.
I don’t really like it but I’m still posting in it and at this point it’s just going to chug along I guess.

Always been my favorite instrument. I have a cousin who's played bass for almost 50 years. He's played in bands and bars all over Dade. Broward, and PBC for years.
