I just remember the guys from my childhood in the southeast. When I was a kid, it was fun to watch on Saturday afternoons before "Fishin' With Red". I kind of worry about dudes who followed wrestling into their 20s, 30s, and beyond. The second I realized it was fake, when I was a child, I lost interest completely. No, he wasn't. Leading up to the 1997 Survivor Series (Montreal Screwjob), Brett Hart was a free agent after the Pay Per View. He wanted to make Shawn Michaels money but McMahon couldn't reconcile paying him Michaels money when Hart wasn't a star and marketable. So, Brett didn't sign, Vince couldn't have him leave the company still the champ, hence the Screwjob.
