Bobby The Brain Heenan, was a masterful Heel manager.

And believe it or not, I actually think Roman Reigns has really come into his own as a true heel character.

I'd add Rick "The Model" Martel to your quality list. His giant Arrogance mister alone not to mention the rumor that he quit wrestling to become a doctor in Miami at Mercy Hospital.

You're really showing your age. 😂😂😂

I watched in wrestling history that before Bash At The Beach 1996 that Zbysksko's heel turn in 1980 changed wrestling.
Zbyszko actually went to my high school. His real last name is Whistler and he was a pretty good amateur wrestler.

We had heard rumors that he went to our school and this was essentially just pre-Internet so we had to look through all the old yearbooks in the library before we found him. It was worth the effort though as this was just as WCW was surpassing WWF(E) and he was a fixture on the broadcast. Imo, that was truly the start of the golden era of pro wrasslin.

Has there been a single football post on this thread in 15 pages? I leave for a couple hours and it’s a wrestling thread. I think Mario’s process has broken CIS.
Some of these wrestlers played football and The Rock played for Miami.

We're almost on subject.

Just don't know if they can coach, though.

Some home table mentions.

The Brooklyn Brawler
Larry Zbysksko
Jesse the body
The Barber
For the ladies: The Fabulous Moolah

Piper was one of the best at rattling the crowd.
Piper was a huge reason for Wrestlemania being what it is today... Yes Hogan was the big sell but Piper being the ultimate heel made the sell possible... The heat he drew back then was the catalyst for making that 1st Wrestlemania what it was....
Go look up Piper stuff from Georgia Championship Wrestling and Mid-Atlantic .... One of few people that could out talk Flair...
