I mean Oregon announced Lanning..............

How many times does it need to be stated, that it is different for head coaches vs. assistant coaches. Look around the entire NCAA landscape. Very few assistant coaches who are taking other assistant coaching jobs have been announced IF THEY ARE STILL PLAYING. I'm not saying zero percent, just very few. So while we can "name names", that doesn't change the way that most schools/coaches handle this issue. Lanning took a HEAD coaching job.

Chiefs LB coach got hired already and is finishing out his season. Absolutely no reason we can't do the same with Dorsey if he's the guy.

It really doesn't have anything to do with waiting for seasons to end. Mario has already said the staff will be in place by the end of the current dead period which is Friday. Pretty sure he is just drawing it out to keep putting Miami in the news cycle leading up to final push to close out the class.

Anybody think Mario hasn’t decided who he wants his OC/DC to be? From his time at Oregon it’s clear he takes his time. I’d be surprised if we don’t at least have a one of the coordinators in place before the dead period opens back up.
Nah, I trust the insiders on here and they've said it's been decided. If it wasn't, I'd have trust issues the rest of my life (last part was sarcasm, I actually do trust the insiders on here, before anyone gets the wrong impression).

Am I tripping or wouldn't it be a red flag if Georgia decides to promote muschamp as their play caller instead of Schumann?

I'm older than you and a die hard cane.

Deion, Peter Warrick, Snoop Minnis and Bryant Mcfadden might be the only fsu guys I ever not have a disdain for. Lol. Even I wanted to be prime.

Dude is from south Florida and has shown to overall been a good guy after his career. Deion money was good, had a bad chic, kids going to college a big *** estate in Dallas..he didnt have to take on a coaching job at an hbcu but it seems he caught the coaching bug. Unlike Ed Reed he actually said f it let me go ahead n earn it a bit at an FCS.

He is an elite recruiter, because prime is prime...a great talker. I watched his interview with I am Athlete with Channing crowder, brandon Marshall and got a better understanding of his thought process on it. He can stay at Jsu for 3 years or so and see how it goes.

I just dont want him to take Shemar Stewart
Whether someone is a fan of Dion of not, got to admire him taking a HC’ing job at a HBCU and bringing that school and others much needed attention. I doubt he needs the money which certainly can’t compare to a higher level job.

I’m certainly not going to question his motivation as I don’t know him personally from Adam, but whatever it is, he’s certainly bringing much attention to the challenges HBCU’s are confronted with.
