I think Mario is showing he doesn’t really care about the fanbase’s opinion on internal matters.

This! If he worries too much about what the fans think, then his *** will be sitting with the fans in a few years. He’s got to do this his way and bring in his people and things will fall into place.

If you are a serious and qualified person, would you give one flying fūck about fans’ feelings regarding the timing of your announcements?

Would you change a single solitary thing to pacify and mollycoddle whiny couch potatoes to make them feel good about your hiring process, when your only interest is an optimal outcome?

My answer would be no all around, and not just because I’m an arrogant *******.

The outcome is all that matters. The outcome that the coach wants.

I don't think any coach would give a sh't about what the fans say.

I just feel like having a staff in place to sell recruits for the home stretch of this year's recruiting cycle would be nice to have. Be able to tell a DL who'll be coaching them and how they'll be used. Be able to tell a WR that so-and-so OC has consistently put up 35+ points a game and has gotten x-amount of WRs drafted.
