No certainly not, would rather conduct proper interviews and go through an extensive hiring process. The issue comes about when many are saying the staff is done...so what's the hold up (starting today)? All the bowl games that are impactful in our apparent search are done; there's no one's feelings to hurt anymore. Starting today, there isn't a reason for a hold up...unless they're actually not done and are still going through the process. Which is sort of fine I guess, just taking a lot longer and you'd think a majority of the staff needs to be in place before the dead period ends.
Also, there seems to be this theory that Mario wants to announce the entire staff at the same time, which makes sense considering we haven't heard about a single official hire close to a month after his arrival as the HC in Miami (despite many supposed hires that just aren't official, like Mirabal, rest of Oregon staff, etc.). Not really sure why that's the case or what benefit it holds, but that seems to be the consensus.
I still think we hear something today, even if it's just the Oregon staff members.
