He only played Trask because Franks got hurt. He ghosted Matt Corral for Emory Jones. He only got after Anthony Richardson because he struck out on Carson Beck. He continued to play Emory over Richardson. McEltooth ***** on Mullet’s evals.

To be fair franks was coming off a pretty good season, he had 31 Total TDs to 6INTs and they went 10-3. Emory Jones was also recruited by Urban Meyer and a lot of other high end schools. Here he would just be the OC, so Mario would be helping him out with evals. He's weird but he's one of the better play callers in college football. Go watch some of the offenses he ran with Dak, Fitzgerald, Frank's and Trask. He schemes open a lot of players and would do wonders with TVD and Garcia.

I will pitch in $1 along with 7 others...spill the beans on Mario's staff according to Flo.

I can afford $1 too

Bartender make it a triple.

We need $6 more!

I know he can scheme. He’s too much of a weirdo and I don’t like his QB evals.

Me Totally guessing

OC/QB Briles
RB Jim Mastro
WR Bryan McClendon
OL Alex Mirabal
TE Rob Chudzinski
DC/LB Derek Mason or Schumman
DL Joe Salave'a
DB T-Rob
CB Rod Chance
OLB/ST Keith Hayward

Analyst Stephen Field
Analyst Chuck Pagano
Analyst DVD
I believe there’s a poster on here that may have let it slip once that he’s related to Chuck. He’s mentioned once or twice that Chuck is done with football. I believe he may know Butch personally, maybe you can add him as an analyst

Just want a scheme that features our best players doing the things they are best at.

Right now, our best offensive players are a pro style QB, a jumbo TE, and a big RB.

3 years ago that wasn’t the case. Three years from now it might not be the case again. But right here, right now, that’s what we have over and above our competition
We have a bevy of weapons on offense, don’t oversimplify out of fear.

Briles would be a homerun hire as an OC, a Pro style offense would actual neutralize our talent, not accentuate it.

You guys get scared sh*tless of throwing the ball because yall think any offense that throws the ball more than 10 times a game is Mike Leach Air Raid & it’s not, there’s varying degrees between offenses & none of them are designed the same.

As I’ve explained a 100 times on here, Briles run the Veer & Shoot, it’s the Veer rushing attack + the Run & Shoot passing attack, it’s a multiple variation offense that is adaptable to a myriad of personnel groupings & is primarily a run first offense.

And as I’ve said nearly every time I’ve addressed this topic, I don’t want a pass only offense, I don’t want a Mike Leach Air Raid, but if yall think we’re gonna get anywhere without having to spread the field & sling it yall will be sadly mistaken. Miami as an offense is at its best when we can stretch the field with the deep ball creating explosive plays & running from Tempo. The run game yall want us to have will only work if Defenses are in fear of the passing attack.

Yall wanna be Bama right? Well guess what? Bryce Young ain’t no dink & dunk game manager, he was 4th in the Nation in passing yards throwing for over 4300 yards & 43TD’s with more than 460 attempts. Yes, they can pound the rock when they need to as well, which is perfect because they have 5 NFL offensive lineman upfront, but their team lives & dies with their QB play.

Luckily, if Briles is the OC we’ll be in a very good spot offensively.

I wonder if the Bears fire Nagy, that we couldn't somehow get Tom Herman as a analyst here.

Franks was one dumb mistake away on every play.....sack, INT, ball sailing over the head of his WR. To counter your stats, he was sub 45% three times that year. He was also sub 200 yards passing 7 times. 8 of his 24 passing TDs (33%) came in 2 games against Charleston Southern and Idaho.

He had the size and arm every coach wants. But he stared down receivers all the time, his accuracy was all over the place, he didn't throw with anticipation (tried to arm it in) and he had bad pocket awareness. I was actually shocked Arkansas was able to get as much out of him as they did.

People have issues with both Chud and Dorsey, but if I was going to hire a rising star like Dorsey who's never called plays, I'd want to also hire an experienced OC as an analyst to help guide him. If that person was also someone who Dorsey had a relationship with like Chud, that could lead to some very good things.
I'd love to see this.

SIAP....But what's the story with Ishmael Aristide? I doubt he gets an on field role, but is it likely he stays on with an off field role? He would be a huge asset to recruiting.

I don’t think anyone said Chud is definitely going to be on the staff. Rittenberg said a source told him Chud is a “possible addition”. Technically Urban Meyer could be a “possible addition” to Mario’s staff.
Fair, but Meyer wasn’t mentioned. Chud was almost surely mentioned because he’s actually going to be on the staff.
