That’s why I never understood why most of y’all thought he was surely gonna get scooped up to be an OC somewhere else.

how do you know we can't find anyone?

you guys are acting like 5 year olds who see other kids get toys.

relax, there's a 100% chance that we have coordinators before the season starts

He helped modernize the offense. I give him credit for that. But then he called none of the plays. Implementing a scheme and calling plays are two totally different skill sets.

He's called plays 2 seasons in his life. In both seasons, his offenses were top-5 worst in the league. And then he got fired.

Maybe he'll get better as his career develops. Maybe he was just in a stinky situation at Carolina. But contrary to how the board perceives him, NFL HCs seemingly perceive him much different. That's why he'll be a QB coach. Not an OC.

The new photo copier coordinator just got poached by FAU. His wife thinks Coral Gables is too far south, but is ok with Boca.

We are like kids who are waiting until July to get their Christmas presents while everyone got theirs already because our parents are woke and celebrate Jesus's birthday in the month when he was supposedly born.

does making the right hire matter more than making a quick hire? and does prioritizing signing day matter more than making an OC hire?

idk, but that's clearly what mario has decided so you either trust him or you don't. Constant whining about "why can't we hire anyone" when nobody knows any information or the details surrounding it is just dumb

I wonder when people start to realize how little playcalling matters when your scheme sucks.

Or: How future OC do not need to call plays before they get hired as OC.
