And the "he hasnt called plays"-dumb****ery doesnt exist with him
Oh I had some one make the argument that the game he called was “set up by Kliff” so he couldn’t fail. Apparently Kliff did all the checks and the 2nd half adjustments the week leading up to Cleveland.

This is utter insanity...

I get the Ohio thing you have with LeBron, but the idea that players now are better than the guys in the 90’s is just crazy.

They’re better 3 point shooters & that’s about it.
There aren’t even centers in the league anymore

I’m a huge Lebrun fan and he would have been successful in any era. But if you don’t acknowledge that 80s and 90s NBA centers just hit different, then you’re out of your **** minds

You really believe that Bill Wennington starts in today’s NBA? Is Judd Buschler a role player? Come on man. Let’s be real about this.
You say that as if guys like Chandler Parsons, Mason Plumlee, Josh Giddey etc aren’t starters right now...

Have you seen the 2022 Pistons, Magic, Rockets, Kings, Thunder rosters???

Every player in today’s game is not an All-Star, there’s actually less Franchise players in the current NBA than there was in the 90’s-00’s.

The game became more finesse & more 3 point centric, that’s all that’s changed, the current NBA players are primarily smaller & a lot less physical, they shoot more & shoot better, but they’re not drastically overall better players.

Bron wouldn't make it through the 1st half of a 90's playoff game without ****ting his diaper and writing a letter to his mom like a homesick kid at summer camp.

And one more thing. Space Jam 2 was a hunk of ****.
All you need is the "Lebron stopper " JJ Barrea to beat him. Dude lost 4-2 to Dirk and the Blowfish even though the team was a huge favorite. The debate died that day.

Do you think football players are better today than in the 90s?

I'm with the other guy, I see huuuuuuuge jumps in skill and athleticism from modern NBA players. Not just the shooting. But yeah, when 1-5 are threats to sink a three, and some are dangerous from several feet beyond three, it changes how you have to play defense big time as well. There are some similarities to whats happened in football, where every part of the field now can be attacked. (by the way, really appreciate all that you provide on here for football, thanks!)

Okay, we can all agree no wants that to happen. Outside of me of course.

Chandler Parsons ain’t even in the league anymore. Josh Giddey is like a teenager and a triple double waiting to happen. I’ll give you Mason Plummee tho. There are definitely exceptions to cherry pick. And like I said I believe the stars then would be stars now but once you get to the other starters/role players I don’t think the majority would even be in the NBA today and definitely not a regular rotation.

I think players overall today are more athletic, skilled and in a different stratosphere as shooters. And to me that means Bron has faced tougher comp. Not to mention at their position, where on most nights MJ was facing significantly less talented players, Bron has had to deal with the greatest generation of wings ever.
