im from miramar...and coached with coaches on cogdells miramar staff.....you have no clue...stop trolling. Besides Carol City is a um feeder school regardless. We get who we want out of there just like we got who we wanted out of miramar..other than STICKS....(iVAN mCCARTNEY)...who is currently a coach on miramar's staff and he is pro um.
 
Cogdell played for WVU so it was easy for him to go there and he really wanted to be coaching college. He was let go because his 2 year contract was up and he wasn't what the WVU staff thought he was gonna be as a recruiter.
 
Everyone who knows Cogdell or his colleagues has said he does not steer kids away from UM.

Those who don't insist he does.

On another note I agree that Carol City will be very well coached under Hill and Cogdell. Cogdell had those Miramar kids playing lights out, especially on defense ( I think they called it "The Dark Side" or something like that).

I don't know this coach at all, and I absolutely hate like **** to even imply that I'm actually agreeing with you know who, but during that Ivan McCartney episode that coach was getting bashed unmercifully for steering that kid to WVU. I remember that very well. Now, I think gogeta and maybe one other guy were the only two defending the coach back then.

I hate that ish. Just say you're wrong and not as informed. Then move on. Have balls, man.
 
Yall realize that not everybody aspires to coach college, right? Some guys return to high school, not because they can't cut it in college, but because it's too much of a grind and they wanna see their family. I know several guys who've gone from high school to college and back down to high school. Cogdell made good money these past two years. His wife still lives down here and is in the medical field. He wants to come home. From what I hear he could've stayed at WVU, they were just going to change his title and move him. (and likely restructure his contract)

I will say this however...

A lot of these high school guys who gets jobs at major colleges (as package deals for players) end up returning to high school. Maybe cause they can't coach. Maybe cause the college is done with them now that they no longer have influence with any of the player at their former high school. I don't know.
