Is it just me or has the South Florida area been putting out more and more quality lineman?

Its because of the unlimited playing weight being allowed in youth leagues.

If i told you the sizes of some incoming freshman ol i will be coaching this year you would be shocked..and these kids have technique already/

Big kids no longer have to wait until 9th grade to play football here. It certainly helps when you can actually get some coaching and play the game before high school. I remember some of my buddies playing youth football back in the day and struggling to make weight like a boxer. These weren't enormous guys either, just bigger dudes who's only actual opportunity to play football was on the line.
