Wow, Dumervil @ 8? What say you?
I would agree with this. I think the #1 rating is based on Mincey's incredibly high ceiling.Mincey is a nice prospect but he’s not number 1 on this list. He’s like 5. These people suck at this.
Not even saying it’s not incredibly high. I actually view him as one of those underrated 3 stars that is really a blue chip.I would agree with this. I think the #1 rating is based on Mincey's incredibly high ceiling.
I agree 100% with this. Mincey could play tackle but guard is his spot. Really I was trying to get into the mindset of the person who made the list. Rivers and Walker have incredible upside to be freakish tackles. Not even saying it’s not incredibly high. I actually view him as one of those underrated 3 stars that is really a blue chip.
But Rivers and Walker, whether we get Walker or not, have even higher ceilings with their frame and potential to play tackle. Mincey could probably play tackle, but I see him more as an all-conference guard.
This is the guy who had Chaney as the 4th best back in the state, correct?
True, but we are still far behind many other areas of the country. BUT, progress is noticed and liked/appreciated!!Is it just me or has the South Florida area been putting out more and more quality lineman?
1, 2, and 3 are elite. NFL and potentially first round types. Denis is a really good guard and Seymore will probably move into the elite category after his junior season. The rest are solid prospects.1. Issiah Walker
2. Marcus Tate
3. Marcus Dumervil
4. Jonathan Denis
5. Laurence Seymore
6. Jaheim Shannon
7. Woody Jean
8. Khris Love
9. Gerald Mincey
10. Michael McLaughlin
Michael Martinez & Gerald Mincey are the 2 most overrated OL's in South Fla.
Go watch them at the Opening back in February, they both displayed terrible technique & really bad footwork.
