Duke will be a shoot-out. (again) Our offense is good for a few valuable mistakes and Duke's offense will be efficient, especially against our defense, which makes me think we won't even beat Duke.

Any team with decent coaches is gonna give us a problem.

Seriously Hunter Wells? U want us to be their to wave our ******* finger to the band with u at the end of the game? Would that make u feel better u ******* *****? The ONLY thing keeping me a fan of this team is the fans. When lethargic, stay classy bull**** becomes acceptable and encouraged by the fans, I'm out. Il become a fan of teams that copied the style we got away from. **** the miami Boy Scouts! Our "no loyalty" having *** fans and our banners are the only thing that gives me hope lol. If that stadium puts assess in the seats, u think wel ever see a change? **** no!

8-4 which is what I thought we would be, although it hasn't gone down quite the way I thought. Drank the kool-aid some at 7-0. But it is clear that there is still a loooong way to go for this program. Last night was a kick in the teeth. I think the defense is shot. At Miami it has always, always started with defense. Our defense has always dictated the game. Aggressive, hard-nosed. Saw a little bit of it against Florida, but not since. Whatever they're doing schematically isn't working. They've been on the field way too long, they're not deep, not all that talented, and not being put in a position to succeed. They make ordinary pedestrian QB's look like Joe Montana, which is what happens when you can't get pressure, tackle well, or cover people. The offense is no great shakes either. I can't stand that standing around looking at the sideline ****. You have a senior QB that should have a feel for the game. Call a friggin play and if it isn't there, let him check out of it. If he can't do it, get somebody who can. It's all so predictable. Special teams? Well, the punter is the best player on the team. Too many blocks in the back, and now fumbles to take big plays away and now, put us in a hole that we caan't dig ourselves out of.

Motivational speeches only take you so far, man. Golden has to take a long look at where we are.

This defense is shot. Not stopping anybody, let alone a team that can creatively throw the ball all over the lot.

Heh. If Hunter played on an Alabama team that laid an egg like last night he would have had a truckload of manure delivered to his dorm and the coaches would all have moving vans in front of their houses.
 
I think we pull it together and beat Duke & UVA. VT would've been a different game if not for all the fumbles. Pretty confident we'll lose to Pitt in the cold. 9-3.

Real talk, if we go base 1gap tech + cover 2 man and actually bring in an extra DB for 3wr sets....we win the next 3. No team left has better athletes.

Of course we'll play this soft *** D that makes every QB look like Joe Montana and pray we run into another Driskel or GT....

This is what happens when your culture is soft. Players start blaming fans. Eric Winston did the same thing when C0ckbag was HC.

Duke's offense is actually a turnover machine. They're winning with D right now. Of course, they'll carve us up, but they are far from an efficient offense lately.

Lol, they were far from efficient...no way that QB doesn't complete 70% against us. Take your pick...wide open crossing routes, wide open back, or how about a 7 yard out with a CB back pedaling 20 yards off? take your pick.

If we lose to Duke then our season will be a loss, regardless if we go 9-3. Our schedule is ridiculously easy, minus 2 games.
