So who gets a RS and who plays???

This is my guess...

Devante Bond LB 6-3/230 play from day 1
Artie Burns DB 6-0/183 will get some PT
Jamal Carter DB 6-1/175 2 deep from day 1
Stacy Coley WR 6-1/175 will be in rotation and can get a whole lot of PT by mid season
Standish Dobard TE 6-5/235 RS
Augustus Edwards RB 6-1/222 Will play unless Dillard has something to say about that
Alex Gall OL 6-5/295 RS/toss up
Jermaine Grace LB 6-1/196 will play a little and on ST
Ufomba Kamalu DE 6-5/280 RS
Hunter Knighton OL 6-5/265 RS
Ray Lewis III RB 5-10/192 RS
Al-Quadin Muhammad DE 6-4/225 RS
Sonny Odogwu OL 6-8/308 can see some PT not much though but RS
Kevin Olsen QB 6-3/196 RS
Beau Sandland TE 6-6/250 play from day 1
Alex Figurora Will play
Rahyeem Lockley PREP

Agree with esf above. AQM is our best defensive recruit and he's the most ready. He'll play.

I think Kamalu will play as well b/c coaches explicitly recruited a JC DL in order to help NOW.

Sonny has a great shot at playing the reserve tackle role in order to be groomed for next year. If he's up to task, I think he can see the field.

I agree with your others. I think Figs and AQM can be ST contributors right away.
I agree on Kamalu even though I had him down as RS, I just cut and paste and edited the responses. I still think everybody is gonna be disappointed when Jamal Carter is redshirted. The kid has elite athleticism for the safety position, but he isnt there yet and I dont expect him to make an impact there for a couple of years.

No way in **** that AQM shirts. He has pass rushing skills that would have been the best on our team had he played last year.

Going to DBP is like going to college, so AQM will likely be the most ready. My guess is that he's 240+ right now. Not a stretch that he starts at DE or splits time. One thing we do know is that it's all a guess until they get here.

In an ideal situation, Bond, McCord and Hoilett become our edge rushers and we're afforded the luxury of redshirting AQM. As for AQM possibly being better than McCord, how in the **** can we know that? McCord has a great get-off at the LOS, the exact type of quick-twitch athlete that should excel in our scheme. Hopefully the added weight means more strength and no loss on the agility front.

EDIT: And that's not to take anything away from AQM. I think he has the potential to be better than all of them, but potential is the key word right now.

Here's hoping Morris doesn't miss any time. I wasn't impressed by Williams; Dewey and crow are total unknowns. Would really like to redshirt Olsen.

Guys from the 2013 class who will definitely play next year:

Sandland
Bond
AQM
Kamalu
Coley

...everyone else redshirts
