So who are we targeting for Feb/2020 signing?

Around 80-85% of HS players will sign between today and Friday. Of the ones that are left, the great majority are JAGs. The ones that aren’t JAGs have grade issues. The small pool of players left after you remove the JAGs and grade casualties is going to have everything thrown at them by teams trying to fill out their class.

We will be lucky to sign 1 or 2 quality HS players by February. We will have to hit the portal gain, which I rather do than take a bunch of JAGs that will never contribute here. Just be glad we have ESD now, if not this class would have lost another 3-4 players going into Feb.

I don't know if LB is a big deal honestly. If you could of grabbed a special one then cool but Mccloud coming back was a game changer.

I think we need 2 corners, maybe a grad transfer/ Juco and a high school prospect. We need some more competition, Blades and Bandy are really the only guys we can rely on.

Besides McCloud, nobody on that list has played meaningful snaps at UM. We have never relied on any of those guys and to keep it real I dont expect the guys who are coming off injuries to be difference makers. Jennings, run like he has cement in his shoes, Joyner they keep switching him from LB to DE, and Steed has ****ed up both of his knees. No matter how good you think Huff and Brooks, you should wait until they actually play some snaps. I'm not falling for that greentree all american bs.
 
We are at 18, add Moise and that gets us to 19. That leaves us with 6 spots to fill. I would add 2-3 offensive lineman, 1-2 corners, and 1 WR. Maybe we hit on 1 or 2 of them, maybe we hit on none of them but we need to volume shoot. At the very least, we need to add more bodies to increase competition and practice.

I can see it I want to see what Christian William's can do. Ivey is to inconsistent. Couch is good I like him dude is sticky. Blades has to work on tackling but hands down is the best corner we have

If daran branch hasn't signed that's priority # 1 to get him on an OV. Find a JAG o lineman for depth, and go portal hunting for best available and see what happens.

Yup, this is definitely the pattern...At least with Rumph you feel like you have no prayer from the beginning lol
