Below are the names that I keep reading/hearing about. Am I missing anyone? Who's going to break out in the Scrimmage and Spring Game? Who's most likely to carry it into summer camp? [rule: last year's starters aren't eligible]

First Year Candidates
Lowe
Toney
Moore
Wallace
Gilbert
Wiley
Upshaw
Simpson

Portal Candidates
Lucas
Poyser
Blay

Returner Candidates
Chase Smith
Blount
Scott
Ray Ray
JoJo

Hopefully Wiley and Toney imo, out of the freshman. Lowe sounds like a stud, and after all he was a 5 star - the lowest key 5 star commit we've like ever gotten... I wouldn't be surprised if he was like 4th in snaps of our EDGEs.

I mean Last years starters don't eliminate Lyle, Lofton, and Jojo and they're about to be our best RB, TE, and WR. So obviously them lol. But again Hopefully Toney and/or Moore are good asap, but we need a portal WR anyways.

Defensively I just hope it's Justin Scott, Wiley at LB and Hopefully literally any of the other young LBs too... Would be nice if Blount produced too...

Ray ray for me he’s gotten some hype thus far and everytime we’ve seen him out these past two years he’s been timid… maybe thinking too much wanting to not mess up his shot.

He’s a greentree AA for me but hey it took berrios 4 years before he became a folk hero his senior year still rooting for the kid to make the jump

💯

Greentree All American is a derogatory term.

Usually. Certain posters on here believe recent GTAAs have accurately reflected guys who have big impacts during the season. Bain, OJF, Lofton, Arroyo's return, Bell, etc. ... Of course, I distinctly remember some of those same posters glowing about Meesh, Jaden Davis, Couch, Chantz Williams, Parrish, Pope, Wiggins, etc etc etc.

I view them as markers to on who is mostly likely to start or at least be in the two deep. Doesn't mean they're playoff caliber.

I wouldn’t call him a GT All-American, but the way Lofton is getting gassed up if he doesn’t have 500 yards receiving, 200 rushing, a TD pass, two interceptions and a kickoff return for a touchdown by week three, a lot of people are going to freak out.
I think the kid is a stud, but let’s not crown him just yet.

Insert backup QB of your choice who will look decent vs the 2s without pressure in their face
