Perfect, another clueless one on a UM website, if you using the first game as a point prover, we no your level of football knowledge!

It's the first year where the talent assembled in 2017 and 2018 will comprise the meat of the rooster

QB Perry / Weldon / Williams
RB Dallas / Davis / Lingard / Burns
FB George
WR Thomas / Harley / Njoku / Wiggins / Hightower / Pope / Ezzard
TE Jordan / Mallory / Polendey
OL Donaldson / Scaife / Reed / Campbell / Gaynor / Herbert / Hillery / Dykstra
DL Garvin / Ford / Silvera / Miller / Rousseau / Joyner
LB Jennings / Steed / Wilder
DB Bandy / Carter / Smith / Ivey / Blades / Hall / Frierson / Bethel

Throw in Homer, Cager, Irving, Boulware, Brown, Manhoney, Patchan, Jackson, Bethel, Martin, Quarterman, Pinckney, Finley, McCloud, Knowles, and baby you got a stew goin.'

This year was "no excuses".

So now next year is super-double-dog "no excuses".

Recruiting is in good shape?

6-5 in year 3?

Do us all a favor and proofread for grammar and punctuation before posting something as dumb as this.

You should do yourself a favor and learn football, how does year 3 and being 6 & 5 correlate to the actual state of the team. Another hypothetical posting genius, who can only let us know its year 3, but know football knowledge to back up anything.

A bad year?

A bad year? Are you fcking kidding me fcking terrible year in year 3
Either way it doesn't change my point. Put in a new coach as and your going to waste 2 years at minimum for the coach to get a handle on the program and recrui "his type of guy." Oh, and maybe he wants to bring in his own DC. New scheme, etc. You wind up throwing away 3 years to get to where we should be next year. Now if there's another "**** show" next year. then a change at the top would be justified.

Cager is slowly becoming one of my least favorite players...

The young recruits who have confidence in themselves and know football will understand how talented this team is. Especially o-linemen, are rushing game without a passing attack even in the losing streak has been real solid. With perry improving, this offense is just about to be hard to stop, especially if we stay healthy. The True Hurricane recruits will sign here, some may have gotten caught up in the social media wanna be know it alls, but this program is in great shape, and better shape than it has been in a long time, the foundation is strong.

The recruiting is in good shape, the coaching staff is real solid, next year, coach richt and crew will go into the off season with a vengence. These young players understand what it takes now, and that's hardwork. This is when its great to have players like Blades jr. on the team, he'll definitely be one of the ones to help lead the offseason workouts and challenge others to be great. Same with jade, quarterman, bandy and the crew. Offensively, its going to be some real heavy competition over their for spots, year 3 for perry is normally when the lights come on for qb's in coach richt's system, perry if he matures, he'll start leading this team li I e he should and with the talent we got around him, stay tuned.

Good lord

you know, for all the **** we've given Golden at least his guys are the ones playing well. All our best players were golden recruits. Problem is all our worst players were also golden recruits, and Mark Richt doesn't know how to stop playing them - Knowles, Rosier, Mahoney, Jones, etc.

When are Richts guys going to actually take over? So far its ONLY been Thomas, Garvin, and Bandy.

Miami's 2019 recruiting outlook, at this time, is bleak.

Does Miami even salvage a top 30 class?

I don't know if they were all posted by you, but this is the 4th or 5th time I'm reading this.
Worse case scenario is that we end up where we are now, IMO.
And my opinion is based Ivins last update.

Calvin, do you know the proper way to use the words know and no? I think you have them reversed. Maybe I am wrong. Someone help us, please.

Do you really think Miami regains lost momentum and salvages the class?

Miami and other big programs need consistent supposed "top 5" classes year after year to compete as "elite".

I think there are a few articles out there showing correlation between recruiting class "rankings" and final CFP end of season rankings in the years down the road.

Obviously a #1 class needs to be developed, but the math doesn't seem to be too far off.

Miami or any big program signing Top 20 classes isn't good enough.

Manny is out of his mind if he gets an offer to leave and doesn't take it.

I don't wanna see him go - but Richt is a program wrecking ball.

Not sure why I am bothering engaging with you because you seem like a miserable person but what program has he wrecked? He wrecked UGA? He sure hasnt wrecked Miami The program was in disarray when he took over.

That's exactly correct. Once recruiting slips this far the won/loss record has basically been written. Outlier examples mean nothing. Don't allow the adjusters to pretend otherwise, with all the hype toward undervalued South Florida talent, or whatever the offseason rationalization will be.

Because i dont go by recruiting websites, and again, look at our rushing numbers, we are a team that can run the ball this year with no passing game and obviously you dont understand the type of offense coach richt is running matched with the personnel on the roster for next year, dont be and stay one of the clueless ones. This team stays healthy, you'll be one of the hypocrites eating crow!
This team will be on the rise next year, if a new offensive scheme and staff are put in place.

Again... they are losing to the dregs of the worst conference in the P5. That’s all coaching.

I'm aware of the correlation between class rankings and teams that won Natty's.
I also agree that we need top 10, preferably top 5 classes every year to get to that elite level.

Maybe I missed your point but you asked if Miami will even salvage a top -30 class.
My answer was worst case 20+/- and best case 13-15?

Make no mistake.
I am not happy about it.

I hear you. I'm more concerned (perhaps unwarrantedly so).

I'm thinking best case top 20 class, worst case top 30-40 class.

I hope you are right.
