So we are asking fans to attend fewer games?

The school is selling tickets to pairs of games to get fans into less desirable games. Not sure how I feel about this but it seems pretty weak IMO. If I can only make the F$U game why should I have to buy a ticket to UNC? Have any other universities done this before?

What's weak is that our recent teams have turned UNC into a competitive match-up almost on par with VT on annnual basis. It's still pretty reasonable...get the UNC ticket(s) and go see it if possible, it is homecoming, if not try and sell it...feel better knowing they didn't pair F$U with FAMU or Arkie State.

regardless people wont show up and its very sickening, because that stadium can be filled, though it does suck and its far away it is really encouraging to see most of the stadium packed but thats miami for you bandwagon to the max

Agree that Miami is a bandwagon town for fans. Wish I lived closer to attend more games, but it's a long trip from NY state.

I wished that I lived closer than Chucktown, SC cuz I would be at every game myself. I just go to away games now and would gladly trade those to live in S. Florida again and be a season tix holder.

I guess I should qualify my answer a little, wish I had the disposable income to travel and see more games in south Florida.
 
This is what happens when you try to get too cute. I can almost guarantee this was the idea of a non sports fan low level advertising person or an overpaid "consultant". Disirregardless, it falls on Blake James. I've given the guy credit in the past for being more in tune with the fans but garbage like this is embarrassing and insulting to every one of us season ticket holders. Jesu Christo, I'd gladly pay a few more $ for my seats if they're so hard up for money that they allow this to go public. We take too much crap as it is for SLS. We shouldn't have to worry about our own administration fanning the flames.

Idk man, I tend to think that. But this is kind of a dumb promotional idea.

Edit: I will admit though when I first saw the big "GO TO LESS GAMES" I did chuckle a little bit. Not sure if that was the intended reaction
 
I'll be there. If for no other reason but to meet some folks from the board and honor our fallen hero...

Caneinhellcountry will be here to defend Blake, Donna and the rest of the admin shortly. This is an absolute embarrassment. How about go to more games: buy a two game plan and get two other games of your choice for free.

My problem is if I could make the F$U game why should I have to buy it as a pair, I can't travel to South Florida twice in a year. It would actually prevent me from attending either game.

I think it's some more soft shouldered BS that makes us looks like punks.
 
I will be attending the FAMU and UNC game. Its been a dream of mine to go to an FSU vs Miami and even being from Tally my parents never could afford it and I still cant afford to go to that game lol.

but i wanted to go to a great game and i knew UNC would be a bank from my buck plus its a lil cooler in November in South Florida not much.

Home games are not great and they know that but they should offer game packages for those games as well dont see why you would just want to have people come too two major games

A lot of MLB teams started to do this with their opening day tickets. I had a buy a package in order to get to opening day vs Boston this year. The thing is it's cheaper to buy a package and try to re sell the tickets you don't want, than it is to try and buy a ticket off of stubhub to the game you want to go to.
