Shayon Green is a warrior. I don't like the negative talk about him. Leading tackler as a f-ing DE last year and you're mad?

**** the NCAA.

**** no!
**** yeah!

More mobile: Kris Kristofferson or Shayon? Tough call.

Edit: Obligatory rooting-for-the-guy disclaimer here. Gotta love porsters.

Man get the **** out of here.

He didn't make one single impactful, game-changing play.

Green is a JAG. Yes the guy works hard and does the best he can....but he can't pass rush to save his life. Sorry but that's what we need.

Show me these tackles! With everything he has been through I think everyone has a high respect for Shayon, he has represented the University and his family well. But after multiple injuries he has been robbed of what he had and never really got to show his talent on the field. The fact he is still starting shows we still have a ways to go.

Also, noticed CIS was mentioned for the Clements being cleared, lulz.

I guess accidentally running into the RB while getting owned 4 yards downfield counts as a tackle.....

Green does have heart, and tbh he does get to the backfield. He just always finds away to overpursue or miss tackles for loss. What's wrong with him is his knees are so shot that he's pretty much useless out there.

And all his "leading tackles" were after about 10 yard gains from behind the opposing runner

Last year was Shayons 1st year playing period so yall can be a little bit more reasonable with the criticizm.... he is what he is, you dont have to be All-conference to not be a Jag and maybe he might have improved just enough to live somewhere in between this season.

It's his 2nd year playing and his 2nd year healthy..... I think if he improves at the rate of everybody else on the team, its reasonable to think he could be a solid 1st and 2nd down DE.

If not then its the next mans job to take his spot and there is finally enough talent on the d-line, (especially if D. Gilbert is ready) to take both his or Chicks spot if they dont show significant improvement from last year.

No one on here has ever said a bad word about him personally. In fact, everyone is always very complimentary of him and what a credit he is to the program. He just so happens to be a great guy who is a terrible player and a liability at DE.
