The best play call Lashlee had last night was when he took a knee to close out the game against an inferior opponent who should have never been in the game. As we all know, that play call can be challenging sometimes and can even ruin your season if not called in the right situation

I don’t judge too harshly based on Week 0. I would like to see how they look by week 3-4. If they are still beating teams and finding a way to win, I will give them credit.

Personally I’d rather stick my dïck in an electrical socket rather than have ol’Rhett back at OC.

Christ our run game was absolutely painful during that run. Especially after teams had tape on what this red faced muppet was scheming.

He was probably handcuffed every way imaginable ( he rode the short bus with that clown show regime & the scared 3rd baseman at qb ), but I wouldn’t let him slide. No matter how atrocious we were before this spell.

Now that he’s at Baylor Jr. & poaching our b squad he can straight gobble a bag o diks for all I care.

Two days later and still shocked the ACC crew actually called a safety. After the multiple times they did not call it in favor of Miami last year even after reviewing it I was starting to thing they didn't know what one was. Also not sure what that kid was thinking calling a fair catch in his end zone on a kick off with literally no one from the other team within 20 yards of him.

Agree somewhat but I don’t have any harsh feelings toward the guy lol. The Covid year was entertaining especially that smack down of the noles

We all owe a debt of gratitude to D’Eriq he put his heart & knee on the line to give us hope during the long night.

Rhett, is / was a mercenary solely focused on personal gain. Not this U as you can clearly see from his time on the trail here.

Note he set us back 3 / 4 years with his Oline recruitment / evals.

If they can’t win this game, it’s going to be ugly. Easiest schedule in ACC & I gave them every toss up to be 5-7. Couple of these could be L’s as well.

Wow, just like I said after you posted this, no way SMU goes 5-7 or even 6-6. This one didn't age well at all. SMU will battle Miami and Clemson every year for top billing in the ACC...their oil money runs deep

In my defense I was speaking on if they lost the game. Momentum is everything in football.

As for my logic, I never would’ve thought FSU/TCU would fall off so quickly. Same with Louisville. Just expected more. Man, they are just really bad.

Kudos to Rhett. I’ll be pulling for him. Completely agree on them being a team watch for the future.
