Truth be told, I'm not real impressed with him either...

Especially, if he's being recruited as a Tackle, he's a Guard all the way & would need a redshirt.

His technique is very sloppy & he's lazy off the snap when facing a speed rusher... Talented athletic ability, but still pretty raw imo.

I would still take him in this class, but I don't think he could be a day 1 contributor.

Yeah that is some emotional nonsense. KWII and others didn't want to be here also. Loyalty before the LOI is worthless. The staff's job is to sign the best of the best. I don't want kids that only want to be Canes, I want the best of the best regardless who they were fans of beforehand.

Pete got theee dudes going full parakeet repeating this **** about Herbert and Slaton.

Herbert is no sure thing. You dudes act like he's Orlando Pace or Jon Ogden. He could be good or could wind up a massive bust. Slaton has more dog in him.
 
Meh they are both above average. However it doesnt seem that either are can't miss three years and to the NFL type guys. The slaton kid is pretty good. That kid that went to UF last year who started for them this year was a big miss. Sucks because he was committed at one point.
