The most recruits you can now count toward a past class is 5, and you need that many to enroll early. So 30 is the max class you can bring in assuming you do not go over the 85 class size.
i dont think this is true.
we're going to see a TON of attrition this year with a brand new staff. and we'll need it in order to get the talent level what it should be. weed out some of those soph's & junior's.
Keep hearing this but who else do people feel will be shown the door after this year? We dropped alot of the "Golden special" dead weight a month ago. Really the only guys I see that MIGHT qualify are TMcCrary, DLangham and BLoftus. I wouldnt call that a ton. I see alot of these kids "Richt caliber" kids and kids that will want to stick around. JMO.
I mostly agree with you, but I'm not sure that Ryan Mayes and Mike Smith are Miami caliber either. Also, I'm not sure that Fines is a good fit for the new 4-3 scheme. I hope all six of these guys turn out to be studs, but, if not, then that could be six more slots open in the next class.
Ill def give you Mayes. Never liked him even at Dr Krop before he went to MNW. I think Golden got spooked when Uncle Luke called him out for passing on too many south fla kids and since Mayes played for him at MNW he offered him.
MSmith didnt look bad in the bowl game. Looked pretty decent. I am willing to let him shoot his shot.
Fines should transfer I agree as well. Would have been good in the old scheme IMO but there is no place for him here anymore.
