Sinorice Moss sighting!

I'm also a Giants fan, and was stoked when he came to town. Big Blue has a nack drafting Canes (S. Moss, Shockey, W. Joseph, K. Phillips, Ottis Anderson, J. Armstead...), When Sinorice showed up, I had high hopes for him. Unfortunately he never panned out due to injury and a pretty decent WR corp. Wish him the best of luck in the land Labatt's Blue! He and his brother are class acts.

Hello all! Bonjour Maxime. I am simply replying in response to a woefully innacurate and degrading descriptor of a phenomenal professional football league.

First, Max makes several allusions toward CFL football being weird, the players being a bizarre collection of div 2 and 3 guys with a few div 1. The obvious direction Max wants to take you is toward a conclusion that it is inferior football made up of less-than athletes. This is the boggest crock of bs ever perpetrated in these forums. Not only are his stats way off, the idea that div 1 is the only div that produces top players has been disproven endless times. Most CFL players are div 1, some are div 1 sub, a few are 2 and the Canadian players typically come from Canadian universities. Generally, it takes a few extra years to develop a Canadian player simply because they do not play as much football as their US counterparts. BTW, more than 10,000 football players graduate US programs each year, very few will ascend to pro ball of any type, disparaging any athlete that plays even arena league ball is ridiculous given the massive compettion. It is a lot harder to make the CFL than it is the NHL Max, the numbers prove that.

The CFL definitley looks for players with different skill sets than those demanded by 4 down ball. While 4 down ball is a very structured game with no separation between down lineman playing on a small field, size is a huge factor. In the CFL, smaller, quicker skill players are in demand. The CFL game is played on a field that is 65% larger and has 1 extra player .... that creates many additional variables making it impossible to impose the same level of structure as can be done in 4 down ball. So, players need to be able to improvise. Calling the game "weird" is nonsense. Many Canadians have a pathetic need to bash the CFL because they think that notoriety and money are the be all indicators of quality. Do not develop your opinion of CFL football based on this type of drivel. The CFL game is different, degrading it, especially degrading it in such an oblivious fashion, is not giving Cane fans an accurate picture at all.

As for the glamorous Saskatchewan Roughriders (glamorous is another slam from Max, in truth Saskatchewan is a beutiful place but once again a Canadian insecurity has driven Max to bash mindlessly), Sinorice is doing a good job. Going back to Max's assertion that CFL players are a weird inferior bunch, make note that there were more than 20 NFL draft picks in camp ....... very few made the team. As mentioned, different game. Sinorice made the team and he has been returning kicks, doing a decent job. He probably won't see any time at wide receiver but has a chance to stick on the roster for the season. He is enjoying himself and the Roughriders are happy to have him. He also seems like a great guy in the locker room.

Wow, talk about having sand in the ******...
