I know what you're saying but I'm perfectly aware of just how interested he was and why he reached out. I told yall about him more than a year ago. But in his instance as well as chris,keele,elias & several others they didnt like being slow rolled. Cant have recruits like this seriously interested than toy with them and expect a good response.
you don't think the fact that there is a whole new staff and HC would matter to him now?
With him it's possible. I'll find out. Doubt it but well see. For the other people mentioned our new hc actually hurts us more than helps.
I dont know for certain how hes gonna run that. But it's in my opinion, hard to fathom that a person who wanted that much control as a DC will change 180 as a head coach. Hes very hands on. Hopefully hes watched enough to learn as a hc you gotta surround yourself with the right people and give them all the rope necessary.
And to start recruiting areas other than south Florida more. A lot of Miami’s most talented offensive players and players in general the last couple of years have been from outside of the state. Miami always has had a strong Florida base but a good amount of elite out state kids in the program. Hope we can close on Jaelan Phillips to add to the west coast additions this year
All I'm gonna say is staff was forced to change their mindset on alot of these south Florida kids. Entitlement is real.
