This is just one camp, he has dominated every other camp hes been to. On top of that this camp was last year, so he was technically a sophomore about to be a junior.

That was good film, first time I'd seen it. I'll respectfully disagree with Brock, as I think it showed a few things. First, it showed that Herbert has great feet, very excited to see him at tackle for us, though not sure he'll be ready this year. Second, it showed why Donaldson is better at guard than tackle, at least for now. Reminds me of a wider more powerful T Darling. Simply overwhelms the DTs, but has trouble with the edge rush. Also didn't realize how small Joseph was. Given Kool's preference for guys like Jackson, Garvin, Johnson and Rousseau, makes sense why he doesn't have an offer.

As for Silvera, not sure when this was shot, but if he was only a rising Junior going against rising-senior Donaldson, I agree it's not a fair evaluation. The developmental difference is just so great in that Junior year, and Donaldson is a top 5 OL in the country. Also, Silvera's the type of player that will get stronger over the course of the game, which is an intangible you can't diagnose from camps. But I agree with Skeeter that there's nothing there to suggest he'll be a breakaway star, even when he went up against the other two OL who were much less physically impressive relative to Donaldson.

p.s., Skeeter, I'm with you on Carney. He looked like the real deal. Illinois scored with him IMHO.
