Silky Johnson Just Gets It

EJ should not get another chance. Remember buddy was **** near kicked off the team before the season even started. Wasnt there a story about how Al told the equipment manager to remove his name tag from his locker and his locker was emptied out? And Al let him back on the team. And then the UVA thing. Listen I get it, we are not in ANY position to be throwing stars off the team like UGA did Isisah Cromwell (sp?) because they had Gurley and Marshall or like Saban does at Bama because well...They are Bama. But EJ was given alot of leeway.

Now Gabe Terry is another situation. HE deserves another shot. I think Al gave up on him too soon.

LOL, if we had a defense in the top 10 nobody would give a rats *** about poor EJ.

Bama might bring back two of the four people that beat and robbed some Bama student. Miami kicks off their best defense of player for punching(1 time) a lame *** lacrosse player.

You do realize he was suspended more then once and was given multiple chances to get his **** together.

I don't understand the love for a guy who let his teammates down over and over. Remember him being suspended vs UVA last year?

EJ cared, which apparently isn't allowed on this team.

dude cared so much he ****ted on his teammates multiple times because he was selfish. Also for people that keep glossing over this fact which he even alluded to, Miami didn't kick him out because of the lacrosse crap, he was going to be suspended for his sophmore season. He was still going to be able to attend school and get his education and return to the team his junior season if he didn't ***** up again. Instead he quit on his teammates again. Hope he can work hard and have a decent life, but F that dude as far as Miami football goes.

I love all these people claiming EJ had a ton of chances. So, what did he do exactly? We know about the punch, and the arguments with Barrow. Aside from **** talking the VT bench, what else has he done?

Sounds like most of it was in-house stuff. Meaning, we don't know what he did or didn't do. Unless one of you was a player on the team and can shed some light on the topic, it doesn't sound like everything that happened warranted him getting the boot.

He didn't get the boot, he QUIT, WTF is that so hard for some of you to understand? Then he was given another chance at Hinds and quit that as well.

yeah he got suspended multiple times because Golden just liked to suspend him. GTFOOH. Also he didn't get booted, he was suspended for the season and decided to quit. He's lucky he didn't have criminal charges pressed against him, bec as he admitted he did assault someone because they walked up on him. Hope he becomes a functioning member of society but forget that kid. He showed how weak he was by quitting the team.

I get that he quit, but that also would imply that he could come back, take his punishment and try again. That does not seem to be an option for him right now does it?

Why does it "imply that he could come back, take his punishment and try again"??

If I quit my job, do I just get a mulligan automatically?

He didn't take his punishment, he quit.

No idea why anyone would defend him. He got suspended at least twice and then beat the **** out of someone when he knew he was on thin ice.
