Eddie Johnson would be another chicken with his head cut off in this D. Nobody in the middle of the field knows what they're doing against the pass. What're the odds that the team's biggest knucklehead would be the one guy who gets it? He'd flash every once in awhile but he'd be another guy flailing after wide open receivers. We know the problem here goes beyond personnel so why would anyone bother with a guy who repeatedly let the team down OFF the field?

EJ was suspended a few times. It's on him that he isn't here. It's not that hard to stay out of trouble for a few years, especially when you are on your last opportunity.

So what? I can find a friend who'll lie for me too.

And even if the fight wasn't "his fault" dude still threw a punch. Not to mention the multitude of other chances he was given at UM.

Stop covering up for him. Dude made his bed. Hopefully he'll get his **** together and become a decent human being sometime down the road, but you can't expect UM to allow him more and more chances with every ****up.
