Excited for what happens in January and February. Give this man that whole month of January to recruit the **** out of kids. Coleman, Moss, Conerly, Stewart, Armella, etc. That’s not even including the portal layers which we should be very active in due to the necessity at OL, LB, DL, and CB.

What’s the average rating, and compared to the top programs?
 
Going to still need CBs with the uncertainty with Stevenson going pro, Blades ever playing again, and hopefully fazing Ivey out of the program by transferring somewhere else. Hopefully we target them California boys Mario had committed at Oregon. Florence and Tucker I believe? Would we take that many CBs plus Banks from the portal. We got a few guys in our current CB room that I’m sorry, but they don’t belong at Miami.

And he committed to Cristobal on Sunday as he wrapped up an official visit to UM. He kept it quiet until announcing today.

“He was happy, excited (when I committed),” Kelly said, adding “The last staff was a cool staff, I just didn’t feel it like I do now.”

Kelly also reflected on his bond with Cristobal, saying “When he was recruiting me at Oregon we just talked, felt a little connection, drive. Wanted to play for him, just the distance was too far. He came down here, I had to (go to UM).”

This is what some are going to miss. Oregon had those great recruiting class, and some kids wouldn't go there because it is to far away from home. Miami will not have that issue. Kids from both coast are going to flock to this team next season.

this kid was gonna follow Mario to Oregon.

also, I did like how we didn't get a GIF from Mario like we would've with Manny if a kid asked the commitment to be kept quiet. newberg ruined his moment a bit with the CB but can't do anything about that if hes getting the info from fSU
