Golden has done as good of a job as possible with the hand he was dealt. It's gonna be refreshing when we don't have to deal with the NCAA bull**** anymore and we gain some stability on the coaching staff. Everything sets up next year for a 10 win season and top 5 class.

Trust in Golden Al. He has done evrything right up to now, so in fairness, we should let it play out.

First time in his tenure I'm disappointed in how coach golden handled a situation ... this has bigger implications than Kirkland and 6 ... it makes UM look bad to the whole state of Florida ....smh

1. it was probably out of the staff's hands and they tried everything they could to get the kid in a top 40 academic school and couldn't

Don't make excuses for the staff. You can't set your self up for a huge NSD and not pull through. If they don't reel in Thomas and a big DT, then this class is a massive failure. You start making excuses and you have a coach that stays 2 years longer then he should of. I'm not saying to fire Golden, but this is a one time failure. It can't happen again, if it happens this year.
 
to be fair, this kinda thing (if true) IS exactly what randy used to do. "you're either a miami kid, or you're not" and all that b.s. (an attitude that is often repeated on this board fwiw)

Even if Kirkland won't make it in for grades, keep recruiting him and let him sign with Miami. What's the worst that can happen? At least we get good press and it helps with 6. I don't see any benefit to drop a kid a week out from signing day. There's not enough time to get on another quality OL at this point.

I read the article.....I'm numb. Sounds like we had both.....and ****ed it away....and ruined a relationship with a big school.


Thanks for ruining it for the fans staff.
