I have no doubt what kind of talent Thomas has, but if you really make your decision simply based on what others are doing and not what's best for you then you have some hard lessons coming.

I Believe coach golden has built a relationship with 6 and he was the first person that al golden explained this too.And if they are REAL FRIEND Dk tells 6 to go where his heart takes him and not to follow him to Tallahassee.They are supposed to be best friends not boyfriends.6 needs to be his own man and I think he will.In the end we still get 6.Idk If I'm being optimistic or just delusional but I trust al golden and I also think that we will land an unexpected big fish that nobody thought we had a chance at.I think in the end we will sign 17-19 guys.

Matthew Thomas is his own dude...he is signing with the U.
 
I just get nervous hearing the Thomas wants to leave town, that puts things in a different light. This is a huge moment for Al and Coley, we need to close this kid and Collins, those 2 are must gets IMO.

Thomas said he wanted to get out of town a year and a half ago. For real, first time he hit the radar he said he wanted to get out of town and go to Alabama. It's not a new notion by any stretch.

I remeber that, I thought we put his mind at ease. It's un-nerving hearing him talk like this so close to signing day. Al and Coley need to hit a homerun during the in-home visit.

I think we did put his mind at ease, but we will see. Hometown usually wins out in the end in these deals so we still have the edge, and it looks like we are gonna need it.

Thought this was interesting. TIFWIW, poster on grassy named "miamisheaven" chimed in on 1/30 (day before this all blew up on the boards) with DK's offer being pulled. He specifically said DK to Arkansas with 'staff pulled off of him big time." He predicted JB between UM/UF and predicted MT, AC, KB, JG, SC and TB to the Canes.

Don't know if this guy has inside info but he claimed to get his info from 2 current players and 1 recruit. again, TIFWIW, but I thought his comment on DK the day before it all blew up was interesting. he said that DK was having second thoughts about coming here or going to the $EC just like JB is but - my reading btw the lines - is that the staff would wait longer for JB than it would for DK.

This is only an issue bc Miami and Al aren't allowed to comment and Ice can say whatever he wants(and he knows that Miami cant address the issue). After these comments no one should ever say Ice is a friend of the program.

I had a feeling about dk because he didnt post or talk about his miami visit and during under armour interviews he would kind of change the subject on miami. I would love to have 6 though. DK would probably wind up like angelo or kevin grooms.
 
why do people act like 6 can't make a decision on his own? When he visited he did it on his own just like dk did. So, i would not be shocked if he went to miami or bama w/o dk.
 
I'm still puzzled why 6 would want to go to FSU? I understand if he wants to stay here, or go to bama or usc but fsu doesnt offer anything that the other schools dont offer other than his brother lives up there. This recruiting stuff is really funny.
