I guess you don’t remember Maurice Clarette stripping 26 of the ball.

He caught the ball with about 5 seconds left, not a cal player near. He would have ran the clock out. Even if stripped the game would have ended. He would have to have been stripped and then the fumble returned for a touchdown.

What was the harm in what Kiko did by going down? If there was no harm then please explain why it was not the correct play. I’m not asking whether it was your preferred play. But why was it an incorrect play by Kiko?

I don’t think it was the incorrect play. Would have been nice to see him stick it to them. Seemed like he had a clear path to the EZ, maybe needed a block. There wasn’t gonna be another play.
