Yeah, I heard it was either that or something better, or worse. I'm hearing something between reparations and executions. Or, all of the above, or none of the above.Somewhere between time served and the death penalty is what I'm hearing.
Per Bleacher Report.
No additional bowl bans and 15 scholarships over 3-years. If penalties exceed that, UM will appeal. If UM does not win the appeal, or if the appeal is delayed and costs us the season, UM will sue and win.
They have the grounds to sue. They can prove a multitude legal issues. They can use the money to invest in our facilities and scholarship endowment fund. NCAA does not wants to face the full force of UM in court. UM just raised $1.5 billion, after having raised another $1 billion several years ago. They will issue the edict with a lot of bluster and will hand minimal penalties.
If the NCAA only says um gets a 1 yr bowl ban, when we had to self impose twice, what would that mean?

Exactly. Oh and Bleacher Report is virtual toilet paper. They will make it at least two to avoid that scenario altogether. The only question now is whether they try for 3 or just leave it at two which would equal time served. For Schollies..thats a whole different ball game
