I’m down to get on the rain on Manny parade, but the tennis courts are maybe 30 feet from Hecht. That’s just Rivals trying to make something out of nothingHe use to park near the tennis courts and walk down man wtf was Manny doing down there??
He was and the hype he had was insane. Not many have reached that level of hype.DJ Williams was the #1 recruit in the country I believe
BINGO!It means he comes from nothing. Whatever you see, the person had to get it on their own and against all odds. No silver spoons, no hand outs.
And he lived up to every bit of itHe was and the hype he had was insane. Not many have reached that level of hype.
Nah that's the Dallas equivalent to Overtown...Is that like the Texas version of the Muck?
I don't know the dude personally so he could be a really good guy, but why am I so irritated that in EVERY, SINGLE picture, this Patrick from SpongeBob looking coach, mentor, handler, whatever is front and centered as if it's his talent and ability that's being sought after? I'm all for him providing guidance and direction (and maybe he is), but this is worse than dads living vicariously through their sons or daughters.
So Manny had ****** walking? Fly the banner! From Rivals on Shemar's visit this morning:
-Was on campus 3 hours.
Although he's been on campus many times, this morning’s time on campus was different.
In the past Stewart would simply park on the side of the road by the tennis courts and walk down the long, wide driveway toward the facilities where he’d meet a coach that would escort him into the building.
This morning - when he and Coach Moe pulled up to the Hecht center, a huge group of coaches and staff were outside waiting for them.
“The whole staff was there waiting, there was like 20 of them,” “They were excited, came up to our front door.”
Coach Moe and Shemar met first with Coach Joe, talking football and getting to know each other. Then they joined a larger group, including Mario, DVD and TRob.
“They talked about the changes coming to Miami, which is good to know, coach Cristobal’s expectations of not only his team but the facilities," Marquez said. "He (Cristobal) talked about revamping Miami to what Miami players should be and have.
“We were just building the relationship.”
As for the plan coaches laid out as it pertains to Stewart?
“The goal is to have him play as a freshman as an every down edge rusher,” Marquez said. “And maybe on third and long get him inside, switch it up a little, play wherever he gets the best pass rush every time.”
Shemar will be back the last weekend in January for his OV.
