I am in this camp as well. This team needs a lot of things from the top, down to players. If he turns into 34 from Bama (or whatever that animals number is)… That would suck but one player is not going to change the fate of the program unless it is a QB.

There have been so many wet your draws kids we missed on that we’re OK at the next level. On the flip side, we missed on some wet your underoos kids that hurt. See every Bama wide out known to man.

QB, game changer, all other players, not going to lose my mind. This will be a process.

2 questions. If Moe wasn’t involved in this recruitment at all would you feel better or worse about Miami’s chances of landing Shemar? Why in the **** would you or any Miami fan defend the guy who would be the primary reason the kid went to another school? Your post sounds like the idiots who didn’t want to us to say anything negative about Diaz because it might hurt the feelings of a guy who was making a sht ton of $ to suck balls.

I’m not defending Moe or anybody. I’m defending common human decency. Respectfully question whether he has Shemar’s best interests at heart, but don’t denigrate him as a person. You don’t know him. You don’t know what he may have done for Shemar.

It’s just gross to attack people and denigrate them, really for any reason. That’s my point. It’s agnostic to the topic of this thread.

Maybe if he wasn’t putting a spotlight on himself with all his look at me twitter posts he wouldn’t get attacked the way he is.

I’m not saying he’s doing himself any favors, but the people making comments are the ones in control of their own words, regardless of the spotlight he is putting on himself. Nobody is to blame for their lack of decency but themselves.

I disagree. The science has definitively shown that social media actually changes the way you think and act. It’s not unveiling some latent behavior that was hidden by lack of technology. It’s actually changing how people think and act.

Harris, Valentine, Bryant, dubmore, Bryant Robinson, Akeem Dent, dontae pope have all caused massive meltdowns only to amount to nothing.

Hmm, could be. I thought years ago that the rise of social media would lead to more psychological/personality disorders. I just have a hard time believing that’s the absolute cause and effect. At some point within a person, is the person they’ve wanted to be and social media gives the opportunity to live that out this changing a person possibly entirely. Like money. You were always that just never had the means to full become or embrace it until then.

Yeah good point.

South Florida DL recruits have a remarkable miss rate. Even silvera, Chad Thomas, chickillo all had very average careers when the hype surrounding them had many saying "can't miss" and melting down on the board and they'll do the same if we miss shemar

You play to win the game. This game is getting a 5 Star local recruit, at a big time position, to Miami.

I only say this - if guys who actually coach down here or know the coaching circles and know some of these dudes say this mo dude isn't the same as every other handler and now we've heard it from Liberty, Jay and maybe macho then he isn't the bag man agent everyone is making him out to be
