i hope for that kids sake- wherever he goes - that stooge moe is removed like the leech every bone in my body says he is. He’s the lion feasting on a sheep (his ironic reference on Twitter today) Shemar for some skeezy reason. He’s everything that’s wrong with the sport. I don’t buy he’s just someone he trusts, the guy is too out there on social to be a trusted mentor.

It helps that’s all I’m saying. Recruiting is selling…these elite kids watch the nfl and to be able to say you see that guy…I coached him is a huge flex that shouldn’t be discounted.

If recruiting was solely about personality, then Saban would have been fired awhile ago.

Saban pulls out a spread sheet with total salaries his first round picks made.

If you don’t have the personality emphasize development and draft selections.

Mario hopefully one day will have both.

There are a lot of different personalities that sell well.

The big thing is to lean into your strength.

Saban is absolutely a top notch salesman. He doesn’t give off the “BFF” vibe. He sells based on his position as an authority figure in his industry.

I remember the meltdown when we lost him... They have 5 top 100 DL this year committed not even counting if they get shemar. Harris will never see the field and he should have came here but ultimately a JAG.

That's why I'm not bothered by shemar. Would be GREAT to have him but not getting worked up over any recruit decision as more times than not they don't live up to the hype
