He definitely could benefit from coming back but make no mistake, he is a lock to be drafted. These guys do exactly what is asked of them in our current scheme.

Shayon might not have recorded any sacks but he had at least 4 QB hurries in the 4th qtr alone.

I honestly never thought he would last coming from a injury plagued start to his career, when he was already considered "behind" as a prospect. Worked his *** off and likely got the most out of his career here. Not many get to say that. Congrats to him.

Don't know about dominating, but I definitely remember seeing a play where he ran somebody down and looked down right fast. Couldn't believe it was him until the announcers confirmed it. Happy for the guy and like seeing him do well.

Yes, I think we have forgotten what good defensive players look like. We have not had a defensive player dominate a game since Sean Taylor.

I challenge anyone to re-watch the game & tell me he didn't dominate in the 2nd half when he was allowed to rush up field. I think too many people don't understand what he's asked to do in this defense. He was unblockable late in the game.

He plays OLB. He's asked to drop into a zone occasionally, contain on the run, rarely cover a RB in man, and get after the passer. Not sure what your point is?

You said our last dominant performance since ST... Marcus Robinson 3 sacks against eventual ACC champion is a dominating performance... He was a true freshman and our offense didn't do much that game... I seen great defenses play but lets not pretend as if their weren't any brilliant performances since then... I think Kenny Phillips had like 3 pics that game as well that won us the game... Those are dominating performances...

Ok. Poor choice of wording on my part. He played very very well.. My post was more about the progress (and possible NFL future) he has made since being injured & the overall feel good story he has become.

He maybe our best DE, which is so sad. Just how can you play 4 years as a DE and have a total of 1 sack. I no most would argue that Chick is our best DE, he is a hustle guy with lots of heart but teams always run to his side because he crashes down and never seals the edge. He gets more sacks then Green on due to hustle.

If he does that, that's not on him. He's being asked to crash down.
