Just rewatched the game & he dominated yesterday.. He looked very explosive off the ball. I think his lack of sacks is more due to our scheme than anything else. I expect his name to get called in this years NFL draft. So glad to see him healthy.. What a great story.

It seems lately that our underachievers all improve at the next level. Very strange.

he should be proud of his contributions here. the two defensive staff's certainly didn't help him any

Absolutely the feel good story of the year for me. Between him and Hurns, going out with style.

I honestly never thought he would last coming from a injury plagued start to his career, when he was already considered "behind" as a prospect. Worked his *** off and likely got the most out of his career here. Not many get to say that. Congrats to him.

you guys are kidding right???
Oh my! I feel like im taking crazy pills-
how exactly did he dominated? Please ellaborate! Was he in the backfield , did he put pressure by using a massive bull rush or speed rush of the edge? Did he look explosive in his firs step?
I get it, he stood his ground and made the tackle 3-4 yards after the line of scrimmage.

Again, this kid has suffered a lot- let's show our gratitude and show him a friendly exit as opposed to claimimg he dominated a game!!
This is comical!

if you hate on Shayon for any reason at all, you are a communist Nole fan.

he tore his knees like 2309 times and still playing strong.

hope he somehow gets to the league.

uhhh I wouldn't call Green an underachiever lol.. He was a 2 star guy out of GA who nobody but Coach McGriff knew about.. He's overachieved here and has played well this season..

Great kid. Sean Taylor 2003 FSU is dominating. Ray Lewis 1995 Orange Bowl is dominating. Russel Maryland 1992 Cotton Bowl is dominating. Have we really forgotten what good players look like?

Yes, I think we have forgotten what good defensive players look like. We have not had a defensive player dominate a game since Sean Taylor.

Shayon did not dominate by any stretch, but he did what he does. He's consistent at least, which is a lot more than can be said for a lot of the other players. He's had a good season, and considering his physical limitations, has certainly over-achieved.

I hear what you are saying..but this is our issue,,,HE DOMINATED and had ZERO SACKS and 3 tackles.....that is not dominating where we need to get too...

The guy gave it his all...he has a slim chance or seeing any real time in the NFL....sorry to say. We have no D lineman that will see any draft day names called this year...porter I feel might get 6 or 7th...maybe I think he goes undrafted.....

Its are most serious issue...no dominate DL..NONE ..
I almost fell over when I heard Don Baily and Joey Z said he hopes Chick hangs around for his senior SR....that was funny

LOL @ him getting drafted. Awesome kid but slightly short, lead footed DE's aren't exactly in high demand.

He maybe our best DE, which is so sad. Just how can you play 4 years as a DE and have a total of 1 sack. I no most would argue that Chick is our best DE, he is a hustle guy with lots of heart but teams always run to his side because he crashes down and never seals the edge. He gets more sacks then Green on due to hustle.

I challenge anyone to re-watch the game & tell me he didn't dominate in the 2nd half when he was allowed to rush up field. I think too many people don't understand what he's asked to do in this defense. He was unblockable late in the game.
