Who was the last player to play "games" and be successful?

Dalvin cook

Denver Kirkland

The same Denver Kirkland that just went undrafted? Not quite sure that qualifies as successful.

Kirkland started at Arkansas at least.

From what I understand, the coaches at FSU wanted him to play it that way, and switch at the last minute? Not preaching, but what kind of message about the staff's ethics does that send to the kid? I don't see Richt actively recruiting kids like this, not just because of what kind of character Richt has, but this kind of kid never seems to want to do what it takes at the next level, and they end up a waste of a scholarship.

Smfh sad to see... not funny AT ALL... I hope he get his life straight

Just a reminder that we all need to not live and die on this recruiting ish.

There are a lot of kids like Jerry Jeudy (just a random example), yes, who are "can't miss" prospects and turn out to be program changing players.

But there are also a TON of kids like Shavar Manuel who are "can't miss" prospects and pan out to be nothings. A lot has to transpire between offering a kid a scholarship and him being a difference maker on Saturday's for your program.

Good. LOL. Why should we feel one ounce of pity for him? He was a 5* recruit with a lottery ticket. All he had to do was play for 3 years, ball out and hes paid.

So he offered to pay some chick for a hummer or a smash session?? So what. The kid might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's barely a criminal.

Go Canes!

Barely a criminal is like barely pregnant....it doesn't exist.

I'll be the first one to say this is a pretty petty crime, but there's a law, he broke it, he got caught. He's a criminal. Ain't no barely about it.
