When Mario hired Dawson, his decision was heavily influenced by TVD. TVDs public reasoning included the amount of freedom in Dawson's offense, for the QB to dictate what's going on. When TVD was asked why he regressed (after leaving) he said that Dawson's offense had way too many options on what to do, and he needed more black and white instruction and playcalling. There's no secret, that Dawson puts a lot of the decision making and play flow on the QB.

Good point. And didn’t TVD have a 400-yard five touchdown day against TAMU?
