SH will travel to K-State

I watched McDermott a few times and I thought he played well. I say we just let the coaches figure out what is best for the team and support the team, but hey thats just me...

You just don't get it, do you Scott? You don't.

Alabama just moved their All-American LT Barret Jones to Center to make room for Cyrus Kouandijo.

Why in the **** can't we do the same?

Seantrel > McDermott

Because McDermott is our best center, by far, according to Golden. Plus Linder is our best guard.

Quit trolling.

McDermott played a **** of game in his first start IMO, agree that's a troll job.

If you don't think that having Seantrel in the game over McDermott doesn't make us a better team, well then I disagree.

Where are you putting Henderson, C? Linder is our best G, and Flowers is not a C. So where do you move Bunche to the bench? SH has been an enigma since he got to Coral Gables and hasn't accomplished all that much on the football field.

I guarantee you that Brandon Linder would make a better center than Shane McDermott.

I don't give a good god **** what Golden may have said about McDermott being the best center on the team. Linder wouldn't get moved around like McDermott has/will.

This year I can only hope that SH splits time with Flowers at RT.

But in 2013 you ****ing find a way to get SH on the field.

It was LINDER and not McDermott who was our backup center for all of 2010.

Flowers - Feliciano - Linder - Bunche - Seantrel

Championship

Wow, that would be a beast of a freaking oline if Henderson gets his act together!!! We need to try that out against Bethune Cookman!! All five of these guys could make it to the league in these spots. If Mcdermott wasn't such a leader on the team, Golden would have tried this already. Plus, the fact he wants his brother, I doubt he ever does this line up. But ****, imagine this line with Duke getting the ball 20 times a game with Mike James about 12 carries. Plus Linder could direct all four guys by being in the middle.

No. In 2013 SH needs to find a ******* way to get SH on the field. And it won't be McDermott that sits if SH plays. He's already the best center we've had since Joel. You don't play games at the position when you have a good center.

Seantrel has started 11 games in 2 years and has played very well.

Think of it this way, If we were an NFL team. This would probably become our lineup at mid season. We would then have Mcdermott and Lewis on our bench. That would give us 2 guys that could play center, five guys that can play tackle, and 5 guys that could play guard.

Flowers had one REALLY good game, but I wait to crown him as our best lineman right now. If I were to rank our lineman overall it would be:

1. Linder (the captain)
2. Flowers
3. Feliciano
4. McDermott
5. Bunche

If Flowers strings together a few good games, I can see him moving to LT by midseason to cover Morris's backside. This will make room for Seantrel at a position his back is best suited for. The middle 3 are not moving, barring an injury.

SH has played alright, nowhere near the lofty expectations many had for him. He's above average as a run blocker, but had a tough time in pass protection IMO. I'm not saying SH doesn't have unreal potential, but it's just that, potential. The kid ahs never worked hard enough to get the most out of his potential. If you go back I had a thread where I stated he would be the break-out player on offense this year, and then the circus started. If he can get his head straight I'm sure he'll work himself onto the field.

I just don't agree with your take on McDermott, thought he played well in his first start and saw no real glaring weak spot on the OL.

Seantrel fanbois make me lulz.

Serious. Mr Drama Henderson could get suspended for 11 games, come back in the 12th and play ONE game, and the fanbois would still be coming out of the woodwerkz praising Mr Drama for "hanging in there" and "being a team player".

:ibisroflmao:

Their manboy love for Seantrel has so blinded these grown men, it's hilarious...and really really sad at the same time. Sad because the plain truth is that Seantrel COULD actually be the best OT we've had in a decade. COULD. If it wasnt for the box of rocks he calls a brain inside his skull.

Wow, strong argument.

Not basing your viewpoints on anything specific, ignoring what the coaches themselves said when they were trying Linder at Center......you just "guarantee it".

Whew.

I stand corrected.

This dude is ridiculous. Golden himself calls McDermott our best center and he just shrugs it off as if Golden is playing some kind of mind game with us.

Don't care much for Henderson at this point. Yes I know he's the best O-lineman to ever walk the earth but he hasn't done **** here and lol if you believe he's not declaring for the draft after the season. Flowers is our RT and I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon. If anything try Henderson at LT.

So Seantrel hasn't done **** here and McDermott is our best center (after one game) since Joel (ironic) and Flowers has already accomplished more (in one game) than Seantrel has in two years.

And apparently Seantrel is a terrorist.

Got it.

Nobody said that. Unlike you we don't think he should just be given the job because he graced UM with his presence. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that. He MIGHT earn his job back. I HOPE HE DOES. He also might tuck his tail between his legs and give up. He sure hasn't been consistent at this point. Is it all his fault? Probably not, but again, you don't just give him a starting job for showing up. And it's not scrubs in front of him on the depth chart.

I've never said he should given a starting job. All i've done is point to 2013 where getting the best 5 on the field likely involves SH starting and McDermott sitting.

Pay ******* attention
