SFHS REPORTS THAT YEARBY COMMITS TO MIAMI!!!

View as article
"I am done now with recruiting," Yearby said. "This is it for me. Miami is going to be my home." Now that Yearby has committed to Miami, he says he will help the UM coaches recruit his teammate and fellow running back at Central, Dalvin Cook. "I would love for Dalvin to join me at Miami," Yearby said. "That is my brother. I know he really likes Clemson, but he likes Miami too. I won't push him too hard to come to Miami with me, but I will let him know what I think."

I WANT THEM ALL

Dunno, got it from the WEZ

I'm not huge into following recruiting this early in the year, but is this kid (at scouts #4 RB) really that much worse than Sony (#2) or Cook (#10)?
Or is it just his style in Coley's "alleged" offense?

I think once again everyone here is star happy. These kids haven't taken a senior year snap yet and have NO CLUE what their potential will be. It's also WAY to early to "fap" for a guy who broke a very long commitment for the canes. If you remember correctly, duke was a 4* most his senior year so lets wait to see. Year by might end up the better back in the back field. Just wait.

FSU boards claiming Sonny is a silent to FSU so miami had to take yearby instead

Langston said that it's unlikely that Sony comes

Langston still thinks that they have Coley wrapped up. Dude is a moran

Short memory? Lol, so the guy is moron because he missed on a kid, lol again. Lot of morons roaming this forum then.

Be better, evolve, don't worry about fsu and uf cuz you sound butthurt by responding in such a way.

IIRC, dude had Edwards, Coley and Kirkland to FSU leading up to NSD. Ain't none of us getting paid to report on recruiting and he's wrong as often as he is right.

Glad to have him on board but still prefer Cook hopefully we can get both because Cook is on another level.

I may just need to calm down here and go to sleep soon...... but hear me out

-We have three Solid South Florida commits who have already gone on record and two already shown they will recruit for the []_[] (Duke Johnson effect)
-South Florida in 2014 is absolutely stacked too the brim with talent
-We have built a coaching staff of ferocious recruiters with solid if not great SF connections
-The 2013 season is more than in our favor to roll and "possibly" bring home the State Championship....
-Recruits will eat up the []_[] is back publicity

and then it is time to....

Just sayin that Langston isn't some super insider who's word should be counted on.

I recall a couple of months ago Clinton Portis raving about Yearby on 560 WQAM. I believe CP attended the state game and he was oozing about Yearby. I also recall a caller phoning in and asking about Cook and CP said he looked good too, but that Yearby had everything you look for in a RB...

Just passing info along...

So how soon until this kid is a 3 star on Rivals?

next Rivals 100 update:

"Yearby appears to be slightly smaller in person than what we anticipated after watching his film. After getting a closer look in person, he doesn't seem to possess the size and speed combination to make him an SEC level back." - Rivals Analyst

- LOVE THE PICKUP

kid like has been stated already is a Dade County Legend that has been getting talked about since optomist levels....usually those guys carry over...(Sean Spence, Duke Johnson, Jeff Godfrey, Devunta Freeman)..

The one thing that really stands out about this kid is ...VISION...he has it...and that comes from this kid being a RUNNING BACK since he was old enough to play football...hes a natural (sean spence was a lb from optomist)..

* I see the Gio Bernard comparison....but i think this kid is Duke Johnson 2......the vision an cut ability i sthere...his top end isnt though....Yearby actually lined up at qb this yr for Central at times....kid is just a playmaker.....I'm all in on him and Miami Central....

they have a wr..Devnte Phillips who is the next andre johnson if he works...

CP is a true running back and I'm sure he appreciates the short area quickness and vision. That's where you make your money as a running back. It's what made Emmitt Smith...Emmitt Smith.
