So I’m posting this because of the local South Florida kids involved. You all remember Kadeem Telfort OT from Booker T, always thought he was a decent prospect, and RB Jordan Scarlett same. We all thought he could play, these are the two mentioned in this article who decided against Miami, decided against being a hometown hero, decided against home cooking, decided against being close to family and staying home, and signed with Florida. Now they’re transferring after getting themselves into trouble. How many kids have to sign with Florida from Miami and Broward and Palm Beach, and fail for these kids to learn. Gainesville is the bank of bad habits up there.

Why are the SFl kids the only ones who need to stay close to home to avoid problems, in your eyes?

Kids from all around the country leave home and go away to college. Why is it, in your mind, that local kids need to stick around to avoid the pitfalls of college life?

Telfort was open to flipping to UM for like the last 3 months of his recruitment (right after his football season ended) and the staff didn't want him any more.

This doesn't say Scarlett is transferring. It just mentions him as saying there's been no update on his and 4 other guys' reinstatement on the team. It mentions Telfort transferring.

They didn't go bad after they went there. The went there because they were bad.
If they had desires to stay on the right path they would have stayed close to family where they are watched and constantly discouraged from doing bad things. But they wanted to get int rouble unchecked thats why they wanted to go away. Nothing you can do about that.

looks like the staff made a great call. kids don't arrive at college and suddenly turn into idiots.

Yeap you’re absolutely right. Scarlett is suspended. Pending a decision by the school on what to do with the suspended players.
