Serious Question: Is Mark D'Onofrio Good For Anything?

He's good at getting me drunk on Saturday's in the fall!

While watching the defense you only have one choice... Drink up!

Without a doubt, D'Buttsquirt has enabled us to watch Miami football much better. In the past, things would happen so quickly that you often had to watch replay to fully appreciate what just happened.

So we can thank D'Buttsquirt for having our Dlinemen hesitate and play pattycake with the opposing Olinemen. That two-gap is really working well, as we don't have to struggle to see our Dlinemen rushing the QB, and getting all confused as they swim, spin, or otherwise try to get in the QB's face.

D'Buttsquirt's defensive scheme has provided a much more competitive game. Unlike other teams, our LB's have to cover receivers for a full twenty seconds since we have no pass rush through the gaps. Makes it much easier to watch opposing QB's look, twitch, get another grip on the ball, take their time checking their receivers, then get their feet planted before making completions all over the middle of the field.

Just makes watching Miami football so much easier to watch.

Plus, we get a much better look at D'Buttsquirt's defense, as they are on the field all game long. It's just great. In days past, our defenses would make stops, and were off the field before you got to really see them play that much.

Let's face it. D'Buttsquirt has completely redefined how we are able to watch Miami football.

Silver lining.

Archer sees it.

Where in Hades, exactly, have you been the past few years?

This isn't Golden's first year, nor D'Buttsquirt's first year!

I will agree that those two aren't playing with a full deck. Nor do their elevators go plumb to the top.

Not for or against him, I do feel he has some value none of which has been noticeably because of lack talent. As I looked across the college landscape and compared other teams talent against ours it was clear that we were deficient at D-Line. Our young men never lacked effort and never quit on the coaches or each other. I feel it's a credit to D'onofrio that his guys never quit on him. He's our DC for now and I don't see anythink positive coming from bashing him. Your opinion is your opinion and I respect it. Truth is the majority of fans out there no little to nothing about being a DC. We'll be back when were back, you wanting the old days back has no influence on the reality of where
we are as a program today. IMO
