Serious Question: Is Mark D'Onofrio Good For Anything?

All the coaches who we have qualms with seem to at least be good at something:

-Golden is a solid recruiter and a very good speaker.
-Jethro is well liked by parents and by all accounts a very nice guy who players like too.
-Kehoe has put tons of guys in the NFL and is well respected in the coaching community.

And then there's D'Onofrio.
I honestly don't know if he has any positive qualities.

He can't run a defense, is not very liked by most of the players per multiple reports, has alienated local HS coaches and has never pulled a big recruit. He also seems to be a huge jerk.

Is there anything he is good at? Anything?

Remains to be seen. Nothing to justify that he does as of this time. And he needs to be reassigned from recruiting the Broward County to New Jersey as his geographic recruiting area immediately
 
Apparently he is very good at gaining undying loyalty from his friend.

And that one accomplishment is earning him more $$ than 99% of Americans. At our expense. FML.

This is not a "**** Golden and Dorito" thread.

This is me asking a legitimate question. I laid out facts.

I'm not a D'Onofrio fan but some here still are. This is for them.

Its interesting that you bring this up because I've never had any of these thoughts myself. But now that I think about it, you might be on to something. good catch.

I've made my thoughts on Golden and D'Onofrio quite clear. This thread is for those still defending him.

He hauled in a few recruits......mostly jersey boys....he has added to Miami record books
Posts regarding his irrelevancy is up.....
 
He's gone after this year if he doesnt produce. Golden will be forced to let him go or demote him.

He's good for wasting cyber space. I can't imagine how much bandwidth the man has personally accounted for over the past months, but I am sure it is up there.
 
If this is a serious question, I've heard that he is very detail oriented in his game plans, which can be a positive. I think it borders on being overly complex though.

I think we find out a lot about him this year. Talent on defense should be upgraded significantly. There are no more excuses.
