SEC recruiting

Tennessee getting kids isn't surprising. They look to have a competent coach for the first time in a few years.

Im not too surprised by Tennessee their HC has a good track record and they were a dominant program before.... but Kentucky's jump is definitely impressive (surprising).

Mark Stoops isnt even a proven head coach yet so its odd that he is having such a successful year recruiting his 1st year??

Auburn is going to do what they have to do to compete with Bama, Ole Miss is having another successful recruiting year.....

With all these significant improvements in recruiting from Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Kentucky, I know Miss. St. is in the middle of it all like WTF??? lol

The problem with the SEC, is that the powers that be seem to think a 1 loss SEC team is better than an undefeated team from, let's say, The ACC.
I had a nightmare last week, and this is for real, that a 1 loss Alabama team was chosen ahead of us at 13-0 to face a 1 loss Ohio State team in Pasadena.
Woke up yelling, "what the Fuuck?"
Explained it to my wife, and she still, after 13 years, thinks I'm pretty much nuts.

The situation you described is tough to imagine these days and that is before the playoff begins. When was the last time an undefeated team from a BCS conference got left out of the BCS Championship picture.

There was Auburn in 2004, but remember USC and Oklahoma were undefeated too. How often do 3 undefeated teams from BCS conferences happen?

I could see a 1 Loss SEC team getting in over a 1 Loss ACC team. But if there is 1 undefeated team in all of college football, they are going to the game if they are from a BCS conference. If there are two, they both will likely get in over a 1 Loss SEC team as well.
